Tile-Painting

In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the traditional Portuguese technique of faiança (majolica), combining white glaze application with tile painting using classic blue and green ceramic pigments.

The session includes an introduction to the history and visual language of Portuguese tile-making, a glazing demonstration, sketching time, and guided painting on 2 to 4 ceramic tiles. All materials are provided, and the tiles will be fired and ready for pickup within one to two weeks.
